Over the past decade, they have helped over 450,000 individuals to uncover the power of the mind – how it is wired and how to rewire it, to adopt new ways of working and leading.

The Human Leader Compass is Potential Project’s comprehensive guide to the qualities and mindsets of today’s human leader, built from years of leadership coaching and development work with clients such as Accenture, IKEA, Cisco and Unilever.
Designing the graphic posed a challenge due to the extensive data included, with the compass consisting of three fundamental qualities and fifteen core mindsets. Also adding an extra layer of complexity to the design, the compass had to read both vertically and horizontally; highlighting different information depending on the chosen orientation.
Starting with Mind and moving outward in a circular pattern, the fundamental qualities – Awareness, Compassion and Wisdom – were distinguished by colour, with corresponding shades representing the core mindsets. Parts of the compass can be separated into smaller groups or even into individual pieces to focus on specific leadership attributes.
